How to Get to the Museum
Evans Head is a small coastal town in northern NSW, 220 km by road from Brisbane, via the Pacific Highway. It is bordered by National Parks, Broadwater NP to the north and Bundjalung NP to the south.
The museum is located right at the Evans Head Aerodrome. It is the large silver hanger, the first building you will see as you come to the end of Memorial Airport Drive.
If you are coming from the south (Grafton), turn right off the Pacific Highway, past the Woodburn Post Office, follow the main road to the first roundabout coming into Evans Head, turn left into Currajong Street, then left into Memorial Airport Drive.
From the west (Lismore or Casino), cross the Richmond River at Woodburn, turn left, then right after the Post Office and follow the same route as above.
From the north, turn left off the Pacific Highway at Broadwater, past the Sugar Mill. Follow the coast road to Currajong Street (roundabout) then right into Memorial Airport Drive.
NOTE: Extensive roadworks are being carried out in the region, for the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade. Longer travelling times may be expected due to speed restrictions and other delays.
Buses run to Evans Head from Casino, Lismore and Ballina, but only on weekdays.
