Our mission
The mission of the Evans Head Memorial Aerodrome Heritage Aviation Association is to restore, preserve, and showcase historical aviation exhibits while inspiring public interest in aviation, military history, and the natural and cultural heritage of the region. We achieve this through professionally curated displays, active community engagement, the dedication of our members and volunteers, and a passionate commitment to promoting our exhibits and activities with integrity and enthusiasm.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to establish ourselves as a premier regional destination in Australia for public education and engagement with aviation and military history. We aim to honour the vital role of Evans Head Aerodrome, Australia’s largest WWII RAAF base, in our national military heritage, preserving its legacy for current and future generations.
